Saturday 21st June 2008 Street Party 1pm -4pm. Walking parade meets on the Links walking through Links area to join onto the High Street for the Crowning of the Summer Queen, street entertainers, Samba Band, dance demonstrations, music etc. The marquee is on the Links from Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June with Live Bands on the Friday, Joes Band and Des and The Dingoes on the Saturday(Civic Week dance) and a family disco on the Sunday.
