Jamie's wife left him and went to live with her mother in Largo, Fife, Scotland. A friend consoled him and said what an awful pity she had departed. The man replied: "Oh, but she could do worse yet." "What worse can she do than that?" queried the friend.
To which Jamie said, sorrowfully: "She could come back again!."
